Day 1 - Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu (1N)

Highlight: Visit Tschogang Lhakhang, Tashichho Dzong, and Memorial Chorten.

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and enjoy a welcome briefing. Drive to Thimphu (2,350m), stopping en route at Tschogang Lhakhang, a temple built by the famous “iron bridge builder” Thangtong Gyalpo.
Continue to Thimphu and visit the King’s Memorial Chorten, a spiritual monument buzzing with locals in prayer. Explore Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body.

Day 2 - Thimphu – Punakha (1N)

Highlight: Cross Dochula Pass and visit Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang.

Drive across the panoramic Dochula Pass (3,100m) with a stop to view the 108 chortens. Descend into the subtropical Punakha Valley (1,250m) and visit Punakha Dzong, an imposing structure at the confluence of two rivers.
After lunch, walk through rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to the Divine Madman.

Day 3 - Punakha – Haa Valley (1N)

Highlight: Scenic drive into one of Bhutan’s least-explored valleys.

Today’s journey takes you on a scenic drive to the Haa Valley (2,670m), passing forests, villages, and panoramic mountain views. Haa is a secluded valley that opened to tourism only in 2002, offering an authentic look into rural Bhutanese life.
Visit the Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple), two ancient temples central to local legend and spirituality.

Day 4 - Haa – Paro (3N)

Highlight: Return to Paro via Chelela Pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan.

Drive to Paro via Chelela Pass (3,988m), the highest road pass in Bhutan, offering stunning Himalayan views and fluttering prayer flags. Descend into the Paro Valley and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples said to have been built in a single day by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo.

Day 5 - Paro Sightseeing

Highlight: Visit Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum.

Today, explore Rinpung Dzong, the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,” which now houses monks and government offices. Above the dzong, visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), showcasing Bhutanese artifacts, textiles, and sacred relics.
Spend the afternoon walking through local markets or relaxing in a traditional farmhouse with optional hot stone bath.

Day 6 - Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Highlight: A spiritual trek to Bhutan’s most iconic site.

After breakfast, drive to the trailhead and begin your hike to Taktsang Monastery (3,120m), also known as Tiger’s Nest. The monastery clings dramatically to a cliff, 900 meters above the valley floor. The 4–5 hour round-trip hike is rewarding both spiritually and scenically.
Lunch at the viewpoint café, then descend and return to Paro.
Overnight in Paro.

Day 7 - Departure from Paro

Highlight: Farewell and transfer to airport.

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s sacred heritage, pristine valleys, and kind-hearted people.
